The Arogbo Ijaw chief council Abuja has pledged to support Senator Dayo Faduyile with everything at their disposal for him to succeed because he has a great political future ahead of him.The group made this known during a courtesy visit to Prof. Faduyile at his National Assembly office complex in Abuja.
The council is a major Ijaw traditional and socio political constituency in Ese Odo Local government which represents the leadership structure and collective interests of the Arogbo Ijaw people of Arogbo–Ibe kingdom in Ondo South.

Speaking through its spokesperson, High chief Frank Soriwei, the group said the visit was to congratulate Senator Faduyile for his electoral victory and to appreciate his humility which it notes has kept him going in the political terrain over the years.
The group charged Senator Faduyile to be steadfast in his humble disposition as a politician, adding that people are watching and won’t forget in a hurry that he is a leader, a politician and a Senator with listening ears.Chief Soriwei said the group is happy that the flood incident at Okitipupa local government had caught the attention of Prof. Faduyile who in turn had drawn the attention of the National Emergency management Authority to the challenge, while pleading that the promised relief materials should reach all the communities of Ondo South affected by the flood disaster.

In his reaction, Senator Faduyile thanked the council members for coming and appreciated the promptness of the visit. He told his visitors that the Ondo South senatorial office at the National Assembly Complex is opened to all groups from the district with a promise to channel demands of his constituents to the appropriate quarters.

Known to be vocal on issues of political representation, infrastructure, development and the protection of the interests of the Ijaw people in Ondo state, the visit provides an opportunity for the council to establish a direct working relationship with their newly elected Senator, places Arogbo Ijaw development issues on the Senator’s agenda while providing a golden opportunity to build a broad based constituency partnership thereby strengthening peace and unity across Ondo South.
