One common identity among these authors is their agreement that a man of pride is a man of honour,a true leader and a shinning example to his community, state or nation at large.
In their different works,they are united thar a man of pride is a man of dignity,a man of integrity and a man who can stand tall to be counted when things are tough,a man who can face challenges and still stand the test of time ,a man who can be counted for unshakeable pathway of progressive calling for the good of all at all times irrespective of ethnic colouration or religious affiliations.

All thsee characteristic traits were part of the criteria found in Professor Dayo Faduyile for his being given the recognition of IKALE PRIDE OF THE WEEK by the National union of Ikale students Association. ( NUIKAS)
In a statement signed by the President of the National Union of NUIKAS and obtained by Crude Reports magazine, Comrade Moyewa Babatunde Samuel,the recognition is a testament of the outside contributions of Professor Dayo Faduyile to medicine, public health advocacy ,leadership and community service.

The statement describes Professor Faduyile as a man whose life of excellence and service exemplifies the values of discipline, intellect and selfless leadership which NUIKAS upholds.

The Union said Professor Dayo Faduyile deserves the recognition because of his numerous achievements while saluting his enduring legacy and affirms him as a worthy ambassador of Ikale land whose remarkable path stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration to youths and future leaders as well as Ikale students both home and in Diaspora adding that it wish him continued success in his service to humanity and Nigeria as a nation.

A Prince of Abodi Ikale land, Professor Francis Dayo Faduyile was born into a royal family rooted in education and community service.He is a consultant Pathologist and academic with deep specialist focus in pathology and Forensic medicine.

As part of great professional service to his professional calling,Professor Faduyile once served as the president of the Nigeria medical Association ( NMA) from 2018-2020, One time Special Adviser on Health to Ondo state government, a position that afforded him the opportunity to improve public health governance in the sunshine state.

At the Political level,Professor Dayo Faduyile is paying his dues which is still counting having worked relentlessly in the camp of the progressives up to the formation of the APC where he has been called to service at different levels from the ward,local and the state.

Full Name: Professor Francis Adedayo Faduyile, OON, PhD

Early Life & Background

Professor Dayo Faduyile hails from Ikoya in Okitipupa Local Government Area, Ondo State, Nigeria. He is a Prince of Abodi Ikale land, born into a family rooted in education and community service.

Education

He completed his primary education at St. John’s Primary School, Okitipupa, Ondo State.

He began his secondary education at Ikoya Grammar School, Ikoya, before continuing at other institutions.

Faduyile earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Lagos College of Medicine.

He obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and also holds an MBA from the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

He is a Fellow of the Medical College of Pathologists (National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria) and the College of Pathologists of East, Central and Southern Africa (COPECSA).

Medical and Academic Career

Professor Faduyile is a consultant pathologist and academic with deep specialization in pathology and forensic medicine.

He began his academic career as a lecturer at Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASCOM) in 2007, later becoming a Professor in Pathology and Forensic Medicine.

He has served as an Honorary Consultant Pathologist at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), contributing to clinical practice and training.

His scholarly work includes co-authored research and professional publications in pathology and related fields.

Leadership & Professional Roles

President, Nigerian Medical Association (NMA): Faduyile was elected president of Nigeria’s foremost professional body for doctors, the NMA, serving from 2018 to 2020. His tenure focused on advocacy for doctors and improvements in the health sector.

Special Adviser on Health: He served as Special Adviser on Health to the Governor of Ondo State, bringing his medical expertise into public health governance.

Political Aspirant: He has been actively involved in politics, including contesting for the governorship nomination of Ondo State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), aiming to extend his service into broader public leadership.
