Education is the most powerful investment any society can make in the future because every child equipped to learn today is a potential nation-builder tomorrow.
For Senator Dayo Faduyile, the Back to school initiative represent something larger than the free distribution of free educational materials to school children in Ondo South senatorial District of Ondo state, it is an investment in the children of today who will become the professionals, entrepreneurs and scholars of tomorrow.

The Back to school initiative which kicked off from Ile Oluji/ Oke Igbo local government, focuses on community Government secondary schools, marks the first phase of the educational support programme targeted at underserved schools in the senatorial District.
Professor Faduyile said the initiative is to compliment the giant strides made in the educational sector by the Ondo state government under the able leadership of His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa through his Ease Agenda programme aimed at repositioning education in the sunshine state.
“I also keyed into this idea which aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of president Tinubu people oriented programmes. This is about giving every child regardless of where they are born, the opportunity to learn with dignity”
The Ondo state federal law maker assured that the distribution of free exercise books is the first in a series of educational interventions lined up for schools across Ondo South, including Scholardhip support and provision of instructional materials.

Among the schools visited with the Back to school materials in ILe Oluji/Oke Igbo local government are, Oke Igbo grammar school, Oke Igbo Olorooke Community High school, Oke Igbo Ademulegun High school, Bamikemo Ile Oluji, Abari Comprehensive College, Onipanu Ile Oluji.
Education stakeholders and school Administrators at the flag off commended the initiative and described it as timely and welcome, especially at the beginning of a new academic session and called for sustained investment in rural education infrastructure.

The principal, Ademulegun High school, Bamikemo, Ile Oluji, Mr Taiwo Alimi, thanked Senator Faduyile, noting that it is the first time any elected politician.in the district will extend such thoughtful assistance which will make indelible impression in the mind of both learners and their parents.
The principal, Comprehensive college, Onipanu, Ile Oluji, Mr Adefelu Johnson who was represented by his vice, Alhaj muraina Wahab thanked Senator Faduyile and noted that both the learners and their parents will be full of prayers for Prof. Dayo Faduyile for the kind gesture extended to them.
In her reaction, the Director, Schools department, ministry of education, Ile Oluji/ Oke Igbo Area education office, Mrs ogunbome commended the Ondo South senator, describing his gesture as a commitment to the education of every Nigerian child, regardless of status of birth or location of learning.
The Back to school initiative is to be extended to other local government areas of Ondo South, namely, Okitipupa, Ilaje, Ese Odò, Irele and Odigbo .
There are important lessons from the Faduyile initiative on Back to school free distribution of educational materials to school children in underserved hinterland areas of Ondo South senatorial District.

It shows that representation is not about political office alone but by identifying the practical needs of the constituents that is being represented and making moves to provide such. It is a demonstration of a unique model of representation that constituency engagement includes attention to education and the everyday needs of young constituents.
More importantly, The beauty of the initiative is anchored on the fact that the real beneficiaries are not today’s politicians, rather, they are tomorrow’s Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Media practitioners, Entrepreneurs, Teachers and Public servants.
