The senate leader,Senator Opeyemi Bamidele has been described as a distinguished politician who has earned respect and admiration for his experience in lawmaking,governance and public service over decades.
The Ondo South representative,Senator Dayo Faduyile made this remark in an official congratulatory message sent to Senator Bamidele on the occasion of his birthday.

The professor of pathology and Forensic medicine noted that Senator Bamidele’s wisdom, dedication to national unity and ability to build concensus had earned him admiration across political divides,adding that his exemplary public records remains a source of inspiration to upcoming leaders and a source of pride to the National Assembly.

A lawyer, human rights activist and a seasoned politician,Senator Opeyemi Bamidele is a representative of Ekiti central senatorial District since 2019 before he was appointed as senate majority leader of the 10th senate in July 2023 where he coordinates the legislative agenda of the majority party,the APC and facilitates concensus on major national issues.
